Why Should We Protect Bees?
-
They pollinate more than a billion dollars in U.S. crops every year.
-
Prevent unbalanced diets in humans by pollinating nutrient dense crops.
-
Pollinate key herbs for our medicinals
-
Provide clothing materials for our textile industry
Honey Bee Colonies Are In Decline
Neonic insecticides are the most widely-used bug killing formula, designed to be potent, and are seeping toxic residues into our soils and waterways. We need to push for regulations that will limit excessive use of the formula to help protect the welfare of our primary pollinators.

The Bee Informed Partnership 2019 to 2020 National Honey Bee Colony Loss Survey has found that from the Spring of 2019 to 2020, we lost 44% of western honeybee colonies.
